The app market has been thriving now for a number of years and hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down. In fact, we have already seen record levels of downloads and consumer spending in the third quarter of this year. Downloads on both Apple’s App Store and Google Play almost hit 26 billion globally, up 8% over the same period last year.
