On August 15th, 2013 over 50 HR professionals from various Odessa-based companies gathered together to meet with Brett Minchington, the world's leading expert in the Employer Branding area. The meeting was held at the conference hall of Intersog's Odessa office. Within the event Brett presented his third book "Employer Branding and the [email protected]" that reveals the key processes of Employer Branding, its critical impact on the general improvement of the economical perspectives on both well-developed and mobile app development, etc. At the presentation Brett spoke a lot about how to effectively grow a world-class company using HR branding best practices.
The meeting was very interactive, with a heated Q&A session. We thank Brett for his exclusive visit to Odessa and our office and do hope the takeaways we've gained from the meeting will help us turn Intersog into a dream app development company with a very strong employer brand!
It's also interesting to note that according to a new global research of more than 3,000 Ukrainian organizations by Employer Brand International (where Brett is CEO), companies in Ukraine do not follow the same employer brand management trend as the rest of the world. In particular, Ukrainian employees were the only employees polled within the global survey who said their employer HR brand strategy was aligned with their corporate brand (33% of respondents). Globally, 60% of survey participants said their employer brand strategy was aligned with their values, while 59% said it was aligned with their employer mission and vision.
Also, vast majority of Ukrainian companies (51%) believe that employer branding has the highest impact on client relationships. Globally, the top 4 areas that are likely to be most impacted by HR branding are communications (63%), recruitment and induction (53%), developing employees (43%) and talent management (30%).
