windeln.de is the largest web store of baby products in Germany. The online retailer features more than 200 brands and offers the widest variety of goods for parents in Germany - over 11,100 products from baby food, diapers, and skin care to bed gates, monitors, and other security products easily ordered online.
The client needed a fully-functional mobile version of their online store and ordered the iPhone app that would allow users to browse the products catalog, search for products they need using various filters and a search bar, and buy any product or number of products directly from the app. Some practical functionalities were to be integrated into the app, too.
Intersog mobile application development team successfully created the windeln.de application for iPhone. windeln.de is fully compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch and is currently available for free download in iTunes.
At the time of completion, the app had all the required functions and features and up and running. Intersog's graphics design and app development team completed the project on schedule. The application allows users to search for any needed products efficiently and quickly using several filters and parameters. The search process is highly intuitive and streamlined and allows users to easily change search data and parameters using the “Mein Konto” menu. The app features four payment methods making the Checkout incredibly flexible and convenient for all users.
The application gives users access to the whole experience of windeln.de online shopping from their iPhones. The other important feature implemented in the app is full synchronization with the users’ web accounts. This gives all app users the possibility to review their previous purchases and order lists. The mobile application also features a customer support feature that can be accessed via e-mail. All products ordered online and in the mobile space are delivered to end users within 1-2 business days.
Currently, the app is available in iTunes and Google Play.
