Navigating the intricacies of data and privacy regulations can be daunting and expensive for any organization. Pyxos recognized this challenge and partnered with Intersog to develop an AI-powered data and privacy compliance co-pilot. This innovative solution was designed to automate policy drafting, evaluate overlapping privacy law mandates, and accelerate decision-making processes. By leveraging AI and automation, Pyxos aimed to help organizations decipher complex privacy laws, ensuring businesses can confidently penetrate new markets and future-proof their compliance projects.
Traditional methods of managing compliance are often cumbersome, time-consuming, and prone to human error. Pyxos envisioned a solution that could leverage AI to streamline these processes, reduce the burden on compliance teams, and enhance overall efficiency. The challenge was to develop a robust, scalable tool that could integrate seamlessly with existing systems and provide real-time, actionable insights.
Intersog assembled a dedicated team of four engineers to bring Pyxos' vision to life. Over the course of a year, the team worked diligently to develop and refine the AI-powered compliance co-pilot. The process was marked by exceptional collaboration and innovation, resulting in a solution that exceeded expectations.
The tool leverages Google Cloud Run for PaaS, ensuring scalability and cost-efficiency. Additionally, the technology can be deployed on-premises, providing enhanced privacy and security for sensitive data. A multi-tenant architecture allows the secure handling of multiple clients. The integration of OpenAI APIs, LlamaIndex, and LangChain enabled advanced AI functionality, enhancing the tool's capability to provide real-time guidance and insights.
The project kicked off with the creation of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) within a month. This rapid development phase demonstrated the feasibility and potential of the AI-powered compliance co-pilot. Following the MVP, the team dedicated four months to refine and enhance the tool, leading to its successful launch.
A custom built-in Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) system was developed in collaboration with a third-party team and integrated with the main copilot application. Implemented using Google Cloud Functions and PostgresSQL with vector extensions, this system, allowed Pyxos’ customers to easily analyze their privacy policies, providing tailored insights.
Throughout the development process, the CTO of Pyxos expressed unwavering confidence in Intersog's capabilities. This trust fostered a highly productive working relationship, with team members operating independently yet cohesively. The result was a seamless integration of diverse skills and expertise, culminating in a solution that met and exceeded client expectations.
The AI-powered compliance co-pilot has transformed how organizations manage data privacy and compliance.
Pyxos lets you chat with multiple agents in one conversation, each offering unique perspectives on compliance based on their expertise (Compliance, Marketing, Engineering, etc.). After the launch, Intersog’s team gathered user feedback and implemented user experience improvements such as an onboarding tooltip wizard and preloaded common agents to guide customers, which significantly increased user engagement for AI chatbots.
By leveraging AI, Pyxos has empowered organizations to navigate the complexities of data privacy with greater ease and confidence. The successful launch of the compliance co-pilot underscores the value of innovative, AI-driven solutions in addressing modern compliance challenges.
Ashish Shukla, CTO at Pyxos commented on the collaboration, "We came to Intersog with the desire to create a robust, scalable solution that simplifies compliance management and provides valuable insights for our clients. Working with Intersog on the development of our co-pilot has been an exceptional experience. The seamless collaboration and proactive problem-solving have exceeded our expectations. We look forward to continuing our partnership as we navigate the complexities of data privacy and compliance."
