Dr. Charles Butler came up with the idea of a mobile app that helps connect patients and the best healthcare practitioners saving time and money for all of them. That is when he contacted Intersog as a reliable partner to help aid his noble cause and bring his idea to fruition.

Salus VideoMedicine App is the world’s first mobile, free-market doctor network. The service is HIPAA-compliant and tailored to make healthcare more convenient, cost-efficient, and transparent. Telehealth connects patients and board-certified experts through telephone, mobile/web applications, video chats, and more, making a consultation with a trusted specialist as easy as tapping a button. There are two versions of the Salus Telemedicine App – one for the patients, and one for the doctors, both offering different features.

Challenge

Dr. Charles Butler came up with the idea of empowering patients by providing them with the opportunity to communicate with healthcare specialists using a simple and intuitive mobile application. The app was meant to reduce the need for lengthy visits and appointments by providing doctors and patients with the opportunity to communicate via the application. Dr. Butler wanted to take patient care to the next level, extend the doctors’ outreach, and decrease the pressure on the medical offices. To achieve this goal, he needed a reliable tech partner who would devise a set of solutions to make the idea come to life.
