Intersog Is Turning 14: Looking Back on Important Milestones and Planning for the Future

This October, Intersog celebrated its 14th anniversary, developing high-quality software, Big Data and IoT solutions, and building dedicated IT teams for startups and enterprises across the planet.

Founded by Igor Fedulov and Vadim Chernega in 2005, the company has grown into an award-winning brand with R&D offices in North America and Europe.

So what have we been up to for almost a decade and a half? Let’s take a brief look at our growth and achievements over the years.

Key Milestones

Right after Intersog was established in Chicago in October 2005, we opened our first sales office in Vancouver, Canada

By 2011, we had over 100 employees in the USA, Canada, and Ukraine, and that number quickly doubled with the acquisition of SoftTechnics in 2014.

In January 2012, we opened a new R&D Center in Kiev. In 2018, Intersog Canada was founded with locations in Toronto & Vancouver. This was followed by the founding of Intersog Mexico in Guadalajara in November 2018.

Key Awards and Recognition

While we were growing rapidly, we were acknowledged among the industry leaders. In both 2016 and 2017, Intersog was recognized as one of the Top IoT Developers globally and Top Custom Software Developers by Clutch.

The company was named among the top software development companies in the world by such research platforms as DesignRush, GoodFirms, and Statista

We were also recognized as one of the 10 Fastest Growing IoT Companies to Watch by The Technology Headlines magazine.

Moving Forward

So what now? While our R&D center in Guadalajara has just celebrated one year anniversary, we continue establishing our development centers closer to our clients and help them win their markets faster.

Our R&D center in Canada recently welcomed a new client from San Francisco (the eHealth industry), who will be setting up their dedicated development team in Vancouver with the help of Intersog. That means more open positions for Java, JavaScript, and Python developers.

This month, we became the partners and sponsors of the Little Lion’s event Bridging Divides Through Inclusion and Community in Chicago. The highlight of this evening was a thoughtful discussion on the inclusion and diversity in the workplace from business leaders of BuiltIn, CME Group, National Black MBA Association Chicago Chapter, and Top Box.

We also recently sponsored and attended New Tech Eastside MeetUp in Bellevue, WA. You can expect to see us at more industry events in the months to come, and we hope to meet you all there.

Going into 2020 and beyond, Intersog will be moving forward in a hyper digitized world. The success of our customers and the well-being of our employees are our core values, which will be our guide in the years to come. We will continue to expand, grow, and help businesses across industries innovate, adapt, and scale to meet the fierce demands of a highly connected world.
