Today's IT education in Ukraine leaves a lot to be desired and lacks alignment with the actual business needs

says Yuriy Gorokhov, Head of Software Development at Intersog.

When we employ IT graduates, we have to spend a lot of time teaching them how to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real life. So, why not nurture own mobile development talent to match our clients' needs? We'll give students 70% of practical knowledge versus 30% of theory and employ the brightest ones. Those who won't get job offers from Intersog will still be able to apply to mobile developer roles with other companies.

iOS and Android development courses start on 19 January 2015. During 2015 Intersog Labs will expand to provide more courses in web development, UX/UI design and other technologies, and will most likely spread beyond Odessa to Kyiv and Chicago.
