Odessa Hosted The 1st JavaScript Front-End Development Conference

INTERSOG has sponsored and participated in the biggest coneference and meet-and-mix event for JavaScript front-end developers in Odessa.

On April 13, 2013 Ukrainian community of front-end developers held their 1st JavaScript (JS) Conference in Odessa, one of Ukraine's leading IT hubs with a big pool of ICT specialists. The conference was free of charge and sponsored by INTERSOG, Microsoft, Dataart, Lohika and other Ukrainian and global IT services providers.

During this 1-day meet and mix event leaders of Ukrainian JS community took the floor to share current trends, challenges and proven solutions for JS technology. Presentations featured in the conference covered different aspects of JS front-end development and testing including CoffeeScriptNodeJS, use of RequireJS for code organization, Angular.js, FRP & ClojureScript, scalable architecture, etc. In particular, INTERSOG's front-end developer spoke about ChaplinJS and what is missing in Backbone.js.

The conference gathered more than 650 front-end developers from all over Ukraine. Previously, similar JS conferences were successfully held in Kiev (November 2012), Kharkov (december 2012) and Lviv (March 2013).

INTERSOG are looking forward to supporting more such technology-specific events in the future and contributing to development of a strong Ukrainian IT community.
