We’re pleased to announce that Intersog’s VP Operations Alex Bornyakov will support Hack4energy, a hackathon that aims to create innovative technological solutions to reduce energy consumption, increase energy efficiency and modernize Ukraine's energy system. This 3-day event will be held on 13-15 March 2015 in 6 Ukrainian cities such as Kyiv, Odessa, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Ternopil and Rivne.
Commenting on his role in the event, Intersog's VP Operations Alex Borbyakov said:
"I decided to support the project personally, because it gives us the opportunity to create interesting startups oriented toward energy efficiency and smart consumption - exactly what we badly need in today's tough geopolitical situation".
Hack4energy is the first-in-a-series hackathon organized by Ukrainian energy innovation platform Greencubator and supported by its numerous partners from all over the world.
The hackathon winners will receive cash prizes. The best software development team will have an opportunity to present their project at the Pitch Day that will take place in Kyiv on April 15 and receive mentoring from Startupbootcamp Berlin.
