Ukrainian IT Salaries: May-June 2013

DOU.UA, Ukrainian online community of software companies and IT guys, surveyed 5,000 specialists in May and June 2013 and compiled their poll results into a comprehensive guide to the most up-to-date salaries on the Ukrainian IT arena. This year's record breaking number of poll participants has the following average profile: 92% of men vs 8% of women; 81% of all participants have higher IT education; 10% are students; more than 46% reside in Kiev and 41% are spread across Kharkov, Lviv, Odessa, Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk; median age is 26 y.o. The seniority levels are determined based on the years of experience: junior - from 8 months to 2 years; middle - from 2 to 3 years, senior - from 3 years on. The top 5 programming languages in Ukraine are C#/.NET, JAVA, PHP, C++ and JavaScript/HTML5.
