Ukraine Recognized the World's Second Most Master Level Certified Nation

Global leader in web skills testing and certification ranks Ukraine 2nd globally after the United States by the number of specialists with master level IT certificates

Brainbench, a leading web skills measurement organization, held its annual Bench Games between 14th and 15th October 2013 with over 11 million participants from all over the world. Contestants competed for leadership in the following nominations:

  • Most certified citizens
  • Most Master Level certified nation, and
  • Most certified U.S. state

This year, Ukrainian team of IT professionals has demonstrated very good results and ranked 2nd in the "Most Master Level certified nation" and 3rd in the "Most certified citizens" nominations. In the first category Ukraine is only behind the United States, while in the latter it has been outrun by the United States and India. Ukraine's 2013 achievements fully repeat the leaderboard of last year's Bench Games.

In the Individual Leaderboard Ukrainians got the highest scores in the following IT skills and technologies: ADO.Net 2.0, Adobe Photoshop (5.5 - CS5), AJAX, ASP.Net, ASP.Net 2.0 / 4.0, C# 2.0 / 3.0, C++, Citrix administration, CSS2, Fortran, Java 5 / 6, JSP 2.1, JavaScript, MS SQL Server 2005 administration, MS SQL Server 2012 programming, MySQL 5.6, network monitoring, Oracle PL/SQL, Perl 5.8, PHP 4 and 5.4, PowerBuilder 6.0 - 9.0, Quark XPress 4.0, RDBMS concepts, Spring 2.5, Sybase 11.X Administration, UNIX programming, web design, web development, web server administration, web services application engineering and XHTML 1.1.
